How much effort does it take to be kind? Almost none. For me it only took a sticky note and a spare second in a Walgreens in the hopes that some kid reading this magazine would come across it and no longer worry about whether or not she had enough thigh gap.

Fuck thigh gap. That shouldn’t even be a thing.

In case you haven’t noticed lately (or watched the news or been on Twitter lately), we’re kind of in a crap fest of negativity and hate and it makes my heart hurt. I can’t do it anymore.

So here’s the challenge: Once a week, do something nice for someone you don’t know. It can be anything. Feed the parking meter, jot a note on a scrap of paper, buy coffee for the car behind you. If you can, snap a pic of the good deed and send it my way to hello@kindiseasy.com. I’ll upload it, and maybe it’ll motivate others to do a good deed once a week.
